Supported Platforms

JFlex should run on all platforms that support a JRE/JDK 1.1 or above.

It has been tested positively on the following platforms:

Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000 with JDK 1.2.2, JDK 1.3.0
Linux (x86) with JDK 1.1.8, JDK 1.2.2, JDK 1.3.0, JDK 1.4 beta
HP-UX with JDK 1.1.6
Solaris/Sparc with JDK 1.1.7 and JDK 1.2.0_1
Solaris/Intel with JDK 1.2.2_05a does not work, if the JIT compiler sunwjit is used. It works when you run JFlex without JIT.
